I recently got sick. How would I know if I qualify for an SSS Sickness benefit claim?

You can file for an SSS sickness claim if you got sick or injured for at least 4-days (for either hospital or home confinement).

Here are the parameters to qualify for a claim:
1. You must have at least 3 consecutive months of contribution within the 12 months period by the time of sickness or injury.

2. You must have used up all company sick leaves with pay.

3. You must notify People Ops of your sickness or injury by filling out the SSS Sickness-Benefit Notification form within 5 calendar days from the start date of confinement, either for home or hospital confinement.
